BUSINESS & COMMUNITY USE OF COMMUNITY LAND

Event proposal Seaford Road

A licence has been requested for exclusive use of a portion of Lot 1, Seaford Road, Seaford for a temporary pop-up Food Truck Carnivale event from Friday 8 to Sunday 10 November 2019, between 11am to 9pm daily.

Event details

The full licence term will be from 7 to 11 November 2019 inclusive, permitting the organisers to have non-exclusive use of the land for 1 day before and 1 day after the event for set up and take down.

The free entry family event will create an all-inclusive experience through delicious food offerings, wine, breweries, fun live entertainment, amusements and an open air cinema.

The event is the first of its kind and local breweries, wine makers and mobile food vendors are encouraged to apply and participate across the 3 day event.

As a liquor licence application will be made, the event area will be fully defined with 24 hour security. Risk management plans will be implemented to manage the community and environmental safety during the licence period, and traffic management will be delivered by qualified marshals controlling and organising the flow of traffic during the event.

Have your say

Before issuing a licence we're interested in feedback from the community. Tell us whether you support the proposal and if there is any local knowledge that might help us with the project. Consultation is open until Tuesday 9 July.
