Morton Road Skate Park

NOW OPEN!

We are excited to announce that Morton Road Skate park is open. Landscape works, including installation of lighting and turf, will continue around the edges of the skate park over the coming months.

This exciting project was made possible through support from the State Government, the Roger Rasheed Sports Foundation and the community.

We greatly appreciate the community’s feedback, patience and support to see the vision became a reality.

We are planning on holding an official opening towards the end of this year once construction of the wider reserve works (oval, multi-use courts and playspace) are completed. Further detail will be announced on Council’s web via Your Say closer to the event, as the works nears completion.

Morton Road Skate Park forms a key part of the overall upgrade of Morton Road Reserve into a Sport and Community Hub within the heart of Christie Downs with improved recreation and sports facilities.
