Morton Road Skate Park - see the NEWS FEED below for the latest update and photos

Over the last few months we have been listening to your ideas and working on a draft concept design for the new Morton Road Skate Park.

We heard you wanted a unique, family friendly destination, a place for the whole community with lighting, shade, spectator seating and art. We also heard you wanted street and transition-based features such as street + bowl, stair sets, flat bars and a big bowl themed with beach, ocean and surf style vibes.

We are now excited to share the final design.

This skate park forms a key part of the overall upgrade of Morton Road Reserve into a Sport and Community Hub within the heart of Christie Downs with improved recreation and sports facilities.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT OUTCOMES

Thank you to everyone who provided feedback on our final concept design.

We listened to what you have said about the draft skate park concept design. Including; Could you imagine yourself skating here? Would it challenge you? Does it include something different that will excite you to skate here?

The feedback has been analysed and incorporated into the final design to create an amazing space for the community.
