PROPOSED REVOCATION OF COMMUNITY LAND

Consultation has closed

Thanks to everyone who provided feedback. We are now collating the feedback into a report and will update this page when outcomes are available.

Background

We recently sought feedback on the proposed revocation and sale of a parcel of community land, located off Bayliss Road and adjoining Pieces 25 and 26 Tatachilla Road, McLaren Vale.

It is proposed to revoke the classification of community land to enable the sale of the subject surplus land to the adjoining landowners of Pieces 25 and 26 Tatachilla Road, McLaren Vale.

This will recognise that the subject parcel of land has been fenced in with the adjoining land for at least 70 years and is currently planted with rows of vines associated with the vineyard on the adjoining land.

If revocation and disposal is approved, the subject parcel of land will be consolidated with the adjoining land to form one single allotment.
