Latest Update

We are working through the feedback with the Seaford and Districts Lions Club and internal staff.

We'll share the outcomes of the engagement with you soon.

Project Information

The Seaford and Districts Lions Club would like to build a new shed on the Seaford Community Centre site, Beechwood Grove, Seaford.

The club plan to use the shed as storage and to operate monthly garage sales and have been accessing the Seaford Community Centre for their meetings since they began approximately three years ago. They have indicated they will fund a new facility at this site through fundraising and applying for grants.

You can find more information in the frequently asked questions.

Through initial investigations, we identified the Seaford Community Centre as a logical site where a storage shed can be built next to the centre. This would support the group to access existing public car parking, bathroom amenities, heating/cooling, access to playgrounds, security, and access to the building for their meetings.

Whilst there is currently no funding for this proposal, we are keen to seek early feedback from the community. We will then undertake another consultation on the proposal later in the year.

Have Your Say

Consultation was open from 14 February until 28 February.

Thanks to everyone who provided feedback. We are now collating the feedback and will share the outcomes soon.
