This option involves distributing material (e.g. flyers) to drivers (and occupants) when entering the beach and when they purchase beach access permits. This would be supported by a media campaign to educate the community on responsible vehicle access on beaches.

Cost: High (around $10,000 - $20,000 to develop marketing materials, undertake promotional activities, Variable Message Boards)

Effectiveness: Medium (a higher proportion of the population can be exposed to key messaging on vehicle access and protecting our foreshore. Can provide daily messages during peak times warning users of the daily tide cycle).
