March 2020 Update

06 May 2020

Work on the nature playspace continued full steam ahead during March.

Construction of the Hills to Beach water play is almost complete with the sandpit play deck taking shape and planting beds underway.

The junior nature play area is taking shape with the dry creek and new timber crossing being installed. Our contractor has been having fun and hidden a surprise in the creek for the adventurous to find.

The sensory garden is complete. We are looking forward to seeing artworks from Aboriginal artist Allan Sumner appear in the garden soon.

Fabrication of the custom play equipment, Possum Hangout and Farm Village, is complete. Four semi-trailers arrived from Perth and the pieces have started to be installed. The tractor and Farm Village look amazing.

The Cheese Factory Studio Gallery have been busy and their pieces including a xylophone and snellen chart are starting to appear within the playspace.

Installation has also commenced for all the play equipment including swings, seesaws and the double flying fox.
