Willunga Planning Policy Review

Consultation has closed

Thanks to everyone who provided feedback either through the workshops or the survey. We're currently collating all feedback and will share any outcomes on this page when it becomes available.

You can still view the presentations from the workshops in the document library.

Background

Help shape the future vision of Willunga by providing your feedback that will inform any potential future policy revisions.

South Australia's planning system is undergoing its biggest modernisation in 20 years. By mid 2020 there will be a state-wide Planning and Design Code. The new Code will replace over 70 Council Development Plans across the state, including the Onkaparinga Development Plan. Click here to find out more about the new Code.

NEXT STEPS

Outcomes from the workshops and the surveys will be documented in a Community Engagement Feedback that will be presented to council later this year. We will share these outcomes when they are available. The report will also assist us in preparing Council's submission to the State Government when the consultation on the new Planning and Design Code commences.

The City of Onkaparinga is included in 'Phase 3' of the new Code implementation for which the Code will be released for public consultation in early October 2019.

We would also encourage you to make your own submission to the new Code during consultation. Information on the new Planning and Design Code is available on SA Planning Portal Click here to learn more.
