The Onkaparinga Outdoor Cinema Summer Series (Aldinga Beach) has been approved.
After consultation with the community, six activation proposals were approved by Council on 17 September.
In total 751 people participated in the surveys and we received strong support for six proposals including the Onkaparinga Outdoor Cinema Summer Series (Aldinga Beach).

Background
We recently called for expressions of interest for proposals from interested parties to activate our foreshore and coastal areas for summer 2019-20 and with potential to continue for up to a two (2) year period.
Through the expression of interest process, we received a formal proposal from Saphron & Scantlebury to host the 'Onkaparinga Outdoor Cinema Summer Series’, - a ticketed pop-up cinema with food and beverage offerings.
WHERE AND WHEN
The event is proposed to be held at the Aldinga Bay Surf Lifesaving Club, Aldinga Beach (see the map of the proposed location).
The Onkaparinga Outdoor Cinema Summer Series proposes to operate between 6pm - 10.30pm on the following days and times:
