The Aldinga Sport Park (ASP), located adjacent to the Aldinga township, is a Regional Active Park currently home to nine clubs including bowling, croquet, netball, football, cricket, soccer, hockey and equestrian (relocating in 2023).

The ASP Master Plan sets a long-term vision for the Park with staged development to occur over the next 10+ years. A plan for stage 1 works and the following implementation stages are found in the Executive Summary Report. More detail is also available in the Final Master Plan Report.

The Master Plan was prepared to guide the future development of sports and recreation facilities in response to current and projected growth in population and sport participation levels in the Aldinga region.

The construction of the new Aldinga Payinthi College adjacent to the Sports Park presented an opportunity to combine sports and recreation facilities to create a large sports and community hub catering to the broader southern region.

The Master Plan was developed to ensure new sports park facilities are combined with the school facilities and consider the further growth of the region. Future stages of the ASP upgrades will be implemented as set out in the ASP Master Plan, following the completion of Stage 1 works in 2023.
