Project update June 2026

We know it's been a while since you've heard from us.

Your time and contribution has been greatly appreciated. The survey data is currently being analysed as part of a PhD thesis, and results are expected to be available in early 2027 at the latest.

The results will be made publicly available once the PhD has been successfully completed and the findings have been published.

We will let you know the outcomes as soon as they are available.

Background information

Flinders University are undertaking a study and asked the community to complete a survey.

Whilst this was not a City of Onkaparinga engagement, we knew many of you may have been interested in this study and shared the opportunity via Your Say Onkaparinga.

The study aims to better understand people's connection to the beach so we can find ways to improve everyone’s enjoyment and preserve our environment.
