This project is not open for feedback. We’re simply informing the community about the upcoming works.
We’re committed to maintaining, operating, and renewing our paths and trails to ensure they meet the community’s needs. This project has been identified through inspections and a network-wide path condition audit.
This project aims to address the condition of the existing path between the Panalatinga Road underpass and the service station, ensuring it remains safe and accessible for the community. Given its role as a key route connecting nearby shops, schools, and an early learning centre, the renewal will enhance access and improve overall trail connectivity.
The works are scheduled for the 2025–26 financial year, subject to budget approval, and include:
- Renew 100m of the shared use path, following the existing alignment.
- Replacement of the southern and northern Panalatinga Road footpath kerb ramp with a standard kerb ramp, including tactile indicators.
- Renewal of the rail fence adjacent to the stormwater culvert.
- Line marking to match the existing layout.
- Tree pruning or removal may occur prior to construction if required.
Temporary trail closures are necessary during the works; however, signage will be in place to inform users to use alternative safe crossing locations. We will keep you updated about specific timings and details during the works via this page.
