We have received a proposal from a group of Clarendon residents to establish a community garden at the Hazel McKenzie Hall, Harper Road Clarendon.
With support from the Over 50's Club and the Clarendon Community Association, the group's vision is to create an inclusive space where the local community can connect through the enjoyment of gardening, organic food production and consumption, learn new skills, connect with nature and improve local biodiversity and food security.
We're now seeking feedback on the community garden proposal and council entering into an initial 5-year lease over the land that will be held by the Clarendon Community Association.

On-site gathering - Join the Community Garden Committee at the grounds of the McKenzie Hall on 27 May between 10am and 12pm to talk about the project and leave feedback.
