We want your feedback on the ENCORE Summer Activation Program to help improve how these seasonal activations operate across the City of Onkaparinga.
As several existing activation hosts approach the end of their five-year permit or licence term at the end of the 2026–27 summer season, now is a good time to hear what is working well and where improvements could be made.
Your feedback will help inform future planning and considerations for how activation sites operate, including site conditions and how the program continues into the future.
Have your say
Complete the ENCORE Summer Activation Program evaluation survey below by 26 April 2026.
Feedback is being sought on the summer activations during the 2025–26 season at:

Why we are seeking feedback now
Initial engagement on Council-controlled activation sites was undertaken in 2019 and again in 2022, supporting the expanded Encore Activation Program.
Since then, ENCORE Summer has delivered a range of successful activations across several sites, with benefits including economic activity, tourism and vibrant public spaces.
With several original hosts nearing the end of their five-year permit or licence terms at the end of the 2026–27 summer season, this is a timely opportunity to gather updated community feedback on the sites used during the 2025–26 activation season.
What your feedback will be used for
Feedback will help us:
- understand current community and business views
- identify what is working well
- identify concerns or opportunities for improvement
- support future planning and program refinements
- help shape future decisions relating to permits and licences
We want to hear from a broad range of people, including:
- residents
- local businesses
- people who attended activations
- activation hosts
- visitors
