Construction to commence in September 2025

Exciting news! Construction for the Greengate Park renewal is scheduled to commence from Monday 15 September 2025.

Work will be undertaken between 7am-4pm Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

There will be no access to the park during construction.

It is estimated that construction will be complete by the end of November 2025.

Background information

Greengate Park in Hackham has been identified for an upgrade. We previously sought feedback from the community on the draft concept plan.

The final concept plan includes:

• triple swing set
• wheelchair carousel
• slide
• bouldering apostle
• monkey bars, which double as static fitness equipment
• exercise markings added to the asphalt loop around the playground.
• futsal goal
• Picnic shelter and setting.
