Final design – March 2025

The design has been finalised for the Greengate Park upgrade. You can view the final plan here.

Outcomes from the engagement include the following changes to the design:

• Swap the gyro swing to a triple swing set.
• Adding monkey bars, which double as static fitness equipment.
• Exercise markings added to the asphalt loop around the playground.
• Futsal goal moved location to prevent balls from going on the road.

To allow room in the budget for the inclusion of the triple swing set, monkey bars and exercise markings, the following reductions have occurred within the design:

• Slide reduced from double to single double slide on mount to single standalone slide.
• Garden arbor removed.

Construction for this project is scheduled to take place during the 2025-26 financial year.
