Background Information

The Hub Gymnastics Club is a not-for-profit organisation that facilitates a range of daily gymnastics, aerobatics and kinder-gym programs for over 680 participants, with a further 350 prospective participants on the club's waiting list.

We're proposing to grant a lease to the Hub Gymnastics Inc. Club for a period of 12 years with three rights of renewal of 10 years for the use of the Paul Murray Recreation Centre at Candy Road, Happy Valley.

Hub Gymnastics has secured funding totaling $4 million for the redevelopment of the Centre and they have requested 42 year lease to reflect the work undertaken to secure this funding. To find out more about the redevelopment of the Centre, please click (here).

In accordance with the provisions of section 202(2) of the Local Government Act 1999, we are seeking community feedback prior to leasing community land for terms of greater than five years.
