Project update January 2026

Construction to begin in February

Exciting news! Construction of the Kimberley Fountain Reserve playground renewal is scheduled to start during February 2026.

Work will take place Monday to Friday, between 7am and 5pm, excluding public holidays. There will be restricted access to the work area during the construction phase.

We expect the work will be completed by June 2026, subject to weather or any unforeseen circumstances.

Background information

The draft concept plan included a new playground featuring swings, rockers, a carousel and ninja course equipment. Also a shelter with picnic table, seating, drinking fountain, bike racks and mini Futsal goals on an area of irrigated turf. New trees will also be planted as part of the project.
