Background

This reserve was handed to council by the developer to form part of the Open Space provision for the development.

The upgrade is aimed at enhancing aesthetics by adding a vegetated swale for better stormwater management and plant biodiversity. This creates new habitats with complementary plantings, nature-based play elements, and improved maintenance access, aligned with its classification as a Neighbourhood Passive Park in the Open Space Strategic Management Plan 2018-23.

The reserve contains many established trees and garden features including a gazebo and garden beds with rock walls. The concept plan we have developed includes many new features such as new fencing and a new vehicle crossover.
