Construction update December 2024

Construction for the upgrade has been progressing well, however we have unfortunately experienced delays with one of the equipment suppliers. The remaining pieces of equipment will be installed in the new year, and we aim to have the playground open to the public by the end of January 2025.

Background

We have developed a draft concept plan that includes a new basketball court, sheltered picnic area, exciting play equipment, and an interconnected path network. Recognised as a Local Family Park in the Open Space Strategic Management Plan 2018-23.

Consultation on the draft concept plan was undertaken in September and October 2023.
