At its meeting on 17 May 2022, Council approved the land revocation to proceed. A report has since been prepared and sent to the Minister for consideration

This portion of land will remain in council possession but will be vested as road.

Background

The City of Onkaparinga has recently approved the commencement of the revocation process for a portion of council-owned land at the cul-de-sac end of Godfrey Street, Darlington.

The area of the land to be revocated is bordered in red on the location map and is approximately 96 square metres in total.

The park located on Godfrey Street has recently been upgraded. To enable the vehicle turnaround area at the end of Godfrey Street to be facilitated, it is proposed to revoke the classification of community land,

The proposed revocation of community land process will be undertaken in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government Act 1999. The LIfecycle outlines the process steps.
