At its meeting on 17 May 2022, Council approved the land revocation to proceed. A report has since been prepared and sent to the Minister for consideration.

This portion of land will remain in council possession but will be vested as road.

Background

The City of Onkaparinga has recently approved the commencement of a revocation process for a portion of council owned land along Gulf Parade, Maslin Beach.

The area of the land to be revocated is bordered in red on the location map is approximately 1,320 square metres in total with it being 6 metres wide and approximately 220 metres long.

It is proposed to revoke the classification of community land to enable land to be vested in road to increase the width and construct a gravel footpath. The work to upgrade Gulf Parade will occur during 2022.
