This project is not open for feedback. We’re simply informing the community about the upcoming works.
As part of our 2025-26 Project and Capital Works Program, we are proposing the renewal of the existing car park at Lower Esplanade, Aldinga Beach, next to the Pearl Restaurant.
Car park renewal works include:
- Renewal of the carpark asphalt surface to address deterioration and extend its useful life.
- Fresh linemarking with some minor modifications to improve parking functionality and flow.
- Adjusting the allocation of disabled permit parking spots from four to three to better align with community needs and usage patterns.
- Replacement of defective kerbing on the southern side of the car park to enhance safety and aesthetics.
- Installation of bicycle locking stations to support sustainable transport options.
During the works:
- The boat washing station will not be accessible.
- The boat ramp will remain fully operational.
- Toilets will stay open but may be harder to access.
A cultural heritage assessment has been undertaken, and no foreseeable impacts have been identified.
Please download a copy of the concept plan illustrating the proposed works under the documents area on this webpage.
The works are scheduled to be completed within the 2025-26 financial year, subject to annual budget approval.
