Temporary access restrictions for Park Drive road resurfacing
Road reconstruction works are continuing on Park Drive, McLaren Vale between Kangarilla Road and the McLaren Vale Sporting Complex oval entrance.
The project includes:
- installing concrete edge beams at the entrance to the park
- removing the existing road surface and reconstructing new asphalt pavement
- reconstructing the road shoulders along Park Drive.
Road resurfacing works on Park Drive, McLaren Vale are scheduled for Tuesday 9 June and Wednesday 10 June 2026.
Temporary vehicle access restrictions will be required while asphalt is being installed. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
Access arrangements
- Tuesday 9 June 2026
- 8am–11am: vehicle access maintained
- 11am–4pm: vehicle access restricted while asphalt is installed
- From 4pm: vehicle access restored
- Wednesday 10 June 2026
- 7am–4pm: vehicle access restricted while asphalt is installed
Access may be restored earlier than the times listed above, however these timeframes allow for weather, site conditions and other factors outside of council’s control.
Traffic management will be in place to support safety and minimise disruption. Access to properties and the McLaren Vale Sporting Complex will be maintained where possible.
