Clearance approval granted

12 April 2024

In early April, we received vegetation clearance approval from the Native Vegetation Council for the clearance required to upgrade the Piggott Range Road and Easton Road intersection and adjacent curves. Through the design phase of this project, the clearance requirements have been minimised as far as possible however we will look to retain trees on site during construction considering factors such as the proximity of the tree to the road, the root impact to the tree and any impacts on sight distance.

We are now working through the next stages of the project which include finalising our fauna management plan, works to formalise the Significant Environmental Benefit offset site and drafting a construction program.
