We received a small amount of feedback on the proposed upgrade at the intersection of Piggott Range Road and Upper Pennys Hill Road. Respondents mostly acknowledged the need to address safety concerns in the area and expressed support for the intersection upgrade, however some respondents expressed concern regarding the removal of trees to facilitate the upgrade.

At a Strategic Directions Committee meeting on 3 October, the proposed road safety works were endorsed to proceed, subject to native vegetation clearance approval under the Native Vegetation Act 1991. The design of the improvement works remains unchanged from that shared during the consultation period and can be viewed here.

We are currently working through this process and will provide a further update once the outcome is known.
