We are reconstructing and installing traffic calming measures along Taylors Avenue in Morphett Vale.

The road reconstruction and traffic calming measures will improve the safety of the road and reduce speeding.

Work consists of:

  • installing new kerbing and footpaths
  • improving stormwater infrastructure
  • installing new asphalt
  • improving safety
  • Implementing traffic calming measures

Work will normally be undertaken between 7am and 5pm Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. There may be some weekend work, but this will be avoided where possible.

We will endeavour to minimise disruption to the community during this time and apologise for any inconvenience.

Work is being done in stages, with stage 1 completed.

Stage 2

This stage consists of improving the safety of the road by implementing traffic calming measures to reduce speeding. This section is shown in red on the work location map.

Stage 2 construction is scheduled to be completed by the end of June 2022, weather permitting. Initial works include some minor lighting works followed by the installation of a roundabout and traffic islands.
