Each year, City of Onkaparinga receives concerns from residents regarding the traffic speed within various townships within our region. The setting of speed limits fall under the delegation of the Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT).

This means we must submit an application to DIT requesting they consider reducing the speed limit for a particular area. The application is followed by a community engagement consultation process to determine the support of the proposed speed limit change.

This page lists the current speed limit changes we have recently informed or consulted on, and are now under review or have been implemented.
