Nature Playspace - Wilfred Taylor Reserve

NATURE PLAYSPACE CONSTRUCTION COMMENCING

It's full steam ahead for the State Government and Council funded nature playspace at the Wilfred Taylor Reserve in Morphett Vale with work commencing in November 2019.

The playspace is scheduled to open in mid-2020.

We will continue to keep the community informed as the construction progresses.

PLAYSPACE FEATURES

The playspace aims to encourage people of all ages to explore, roam and enjoy this wonderful natural environment.

It offers distinct play areas that are connected through a network of pathways which include:

  • Junior Nature Play
  • Hills to Beach Creative Sand and Water Play
  • Thrush Grove Farm Village
  • Possum Hangout Rope Challenge and Slide Tower
  • Sensory Discovery Garden and
  • Cultural Nature Trail along Christie Creek

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT OUTCOMES

Thank you to everyone who provided feedback on our final concept design. The feedback has been analysed and incorporated into the final design to create a vibrant, adventurous and creative playspace.
