Nature Playspace - Wilfred Taylor Reserve

FULL STEAM AHEAD!

Work in the nature playspace was full steam ahead during January.

Demolition of the old play equipment was completed and the new access road from Wheatsheaf Road opened to the public. Construction of the second car parking area (Western side) is almost complete and will also soon be open to the public.

Construction of the Hills to Beach water play commenced with the first row of rocks being placed and the mound taking shape. There are a few more layers to go to reach the final height.

Picnic areas were set out with electrical installed for new accessible double barbeques.

We commenced the set out for play equipment, with the first items taking shape being the flying fox mound and swings areas.

Fabrication of the custom play equipment Possum Hangout and Farm Village equipment commenced and is on track for installation late March.

We are also working on the irrigation system for the new open space area and picnic area next to the Morphett Vale Railway.

Check out the Photo Gallery to see the action and progress.

The Your Say page will continue to provide updates and opportunities to stay informed and get involved.
