Nature Playspace - Wilfred Taylor Reserve

NOW OPEN!

We are excited to announce that Wilfred Taylor Reserve Nature Playspace is open.

This exciting project was made possible through support from the State Government contributing $1.3 million towards its construction, and Council committing $900,000 for supporting infrastructure such as carparking, access roads and lighting.

We greatly appreciate the community’s feedback, patience and support to see the vision became a reality.

We are planning on holding an official opening towards the end of this year, but that is of course dependent on government restrictions relating to COVID-19.

The nature playspace is just one part of council’s wider Wilfred Taylor Reserve Master Plan, which was approved in November 2019 and charts a long-term vision for the popular 60+ hectare site.
