Latest update – Opening delayed

We are still waiting on the establishment of the grass which will be dictated by the weather over the next few weeks. We have fertilised the grass and are continuing to closely monitor it. We expect the warmer weather will help.

Given the high traffic nature of dog park use, opening it too soon will result in damage, and effect its longevity.

The grass had its first mow on 13 September. In late September, we will undertake broadleaf weed treatment and apply more turf seed. The park will be mowed every three weeks once on a regular maintenance program.

We expect the new dog park will now be open by the end of November.
