Construction has begun!
Work on construction of the upgrade has begun and will be undertaken between 7am and 5pm Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
It is anticipated to take up to nine weeks to complete, subject to weather and events outside of council control.
Please note, there will be restricted access to the park during the construction phase.

Background
In April 2023 we undertook community engagement to seek feedback from the community on the draft concept plan. The engagement resulted in strong support for the upgrade, and also many requests.
As part of the feedback we've added some additional components to the final concept plan:
- a new basketball half court
- new fitness equipment
- irrigation
