The well at 3 Park Drive, McLaren Vale was most recently described by 2007 McLaren Vale Township Local Heritage Register Survey. The 2007 Survey identified that the c.1844 well was reconstructed with recent bricks to the rim above ground level with a later canopy roof. The 2007 Survey noted that the inner walls below ground level likely retained their original bricks.
Following a site inspection, it is evident that the well rim and canopy roof have been removed since 2007, any original fabric relating to the well shaft appears to have been filled in and covered.
