Reason for delisting
The former cottage at 59 Bains Road, Morphett Vale dated to the late 1840s, with subsequent additions dating to the 1870s and 1900s. Originally constructed for Charles Hegan Myles, the 2003 survey noted a long association with the family of Edward Collins from the 1860s.
The dwelling was severely compromised by later additions and modifications and was recently demolished following a Development Approval process.
