Thanks to everyone who provided feedback.

Throughout the consultation, we had a significant number of visitors to the Your Say page, over 400 visits. Through the online survey and drop-in session, 48 people shared their thoughts on the draft concept plans.

We were pleased to see a high level of support for both projects, but we also received many suggestions and requests.

Considering the feedback received, we are currently exploring several changes to the concept plans for Emu Park. These include:

• Inclusion of a toddler swing.
• Investigate footpath linkages to improve accessibility for all.
• Under storey planting to be selected to suit local conditions and maintenance requirements, where there is a preference for native species.

We will share the updated concept plan with you soon.

We also received suggestions for a shade structure over the play equipment, a BBQ area, a skate option, and a larger irrigated grass area. However, due to budget constraints and the service levels for a Local Family Park, we are unable to incorporate these suggestions into the design.

Construction for both projects is scheduled to take place during the 2025-26 financial year.
