The state government, through Renewal SA and the South Australian Housing Trust, are developing a high-quality neighbourhood in Noarlunga Downs / Port Noarlunga.

The development will be located across two land parcels to the east and west of Lovelock Drive.

A draft master plan has been prepared by Renewal SA to guide the new development that will deliver over 600 new homes, transforming 22 hectares of vacant land into a vibrant community. The plan includes a mix of dwelling types, affordable and community housing, and new public open space. Sustainability and a 5-star Greenstar Community rating are key goals.

Community engagement

Renewal SA are now engaging the local community on the draft master plan and invites community members to share their views on the project either:

  • in person at the drop-in sessions being held at the Port Noarlunga Arts Centre on the 27 July and 30 July. More information and booking details can be found on the Renewal SA engagement invitation.

Community feedback will help refine the master plan, ahead of further engagement later this year on a revised master plan.

To be kept updated on the progress of planning as well as future engagement opportunities, visit and subscribe to email updates on Renewal SA's Noarlunga project page.
