Help monitor our creek health

17 September 2025

You’re invited to take part in a citizen science initiative to help monitor the health of our local creeks.

By contributing photos of the creeks, you’ll help track changes across different seasons and weather events. These images will also support the monitoring of the Urban Creek Resilience and Recovery project, funded by the Australian Government.

It’s easy to get involved:

Just visit any of the 15 photopoint posts located along Panalatinga and Serpentine Creeks at Happy Valley, O’Halloran Hill, Reynella East, Old Reynella, and Woodcroft.

  1. Scan the QR code on the sign
  2. Take a photo using the special stand
  3. Click ‘Submit’

Your photos will be collected and stored as part of our long-term monitoring and citizen science efforts.

Find out more and view all photopoint locations on our website:www.onkaparingacity.com/UCR-photopoints
