We are inviting you to have your say on the proposed mural themes for the Wearing Street Precinct public toilet.

A mural is planned for the newly built public toilet block within the precinct. The mural will be visible from Saltfleet Street and to nearby properties.

This is a great opportunity for the community to provide input to the development of an artist brief.

The project scope includes:

• Mural installation on all sides of the newly built Wearing Street amenities block.
• Community input on mural themes.
• Visibility considerations for residents and businesses in the area.

We would like to provide an opportunity for you to provide your thoughts on the proposed mural themes and identify any concerns you may have with this initiative.

The proposed themes include:

• Aquatic life - Birds, fish, insects, animals
• Local Flora – plant life – marsh, estuary, beach and sand dunes
• Aquatic activities – canoeing, fishing, swimming, walking
• History of the place – since urbanisation
• Kaurna history
• Other – Your choice

We encourage you to participate in the survey below and share this opportunity with your networks, including any community groups, local organisations, and anyone interested in public art and the revitalisation of the Wearing Street Precinct.
