The transformation of the riverfront area continues to progress well.

Here is a look at the latest developments:

• Public toilet walls are in place and the interior is being fitted out.
• Stormwater upgrades completed.
• Irrigation is in place and trees are planted.
• The multiple garden beds are being prepared for potted plants.
• Bollards, car park lighting and event power units are installed.
• Concrete bases for various seats are installed.

What’s next?

Upcoming works include finalising the public toilet, preparing a section of Wearing Street for new asphalt, installation of feature riverfront shelter and various seats, riverbank sand to be delivered and spread, planting and laying turf, asphalt installed on carpark and road.
