Section one – Flour Mill Road and Free Lane

Works on section one of the path in conjunction with the road reconstruction of Flour Mill Road are underway.

To date the following aspects of work have been completed:

• Installation of all stormwater culvert crossings;
• Approx 1.5km of road reconstructed and resealed;
• Approx 600m of shared use path constructed (rubble base layer complete, final asphalt seal remaining).

Section two – Aldinga Road

We are continuing to work closely with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) in finalising the engineering plans for section two.

Early works (i.e. lightpole relocations) for the shared use path have commenced along Aldinga Rd in advance of civil works.

We will provide a further update in due course on the finalisation of the plans and contractor commencement date for section two works.
