Bains Road upgrade complete

The main body of works for the Bains Road upgrade has now been completed.

These works have delivered the planned improvements to the road corridor, supporting safer and more efficient travel for road users. The project included upgrades designed to improve traffic flow and overall road conditions in the area.

While the major construction activities are now finished and the road is fully open to traffic, there are a small number of finishing works still to occur. Minor alterations to line marking at the Potter Road intersection are required to optimise traffic movements. These adjustments are expected to be completed within the next couple of weeks, weather permitting.

Temporary traffic management may be in place while these final line marking works are undertaken.

We thank the community for their patience and cooperation throughout construction and appreciate the support shown during the delivery of these important improvements.
