Wakefield Reserve located on Highwray Drive in Morphett Vale has been identified for an upgrade.

A general arrangement concept plan was developed for community feedback and consultation. This showed the potential location of new playground equipment including natural play elements, a footpath, an irrigated kick about area and tree planting.

We held a community drop in session at Wakefield House to provide an opportunity for the community to discuss the general arrangement concept plan, provide any feedback and ask any questions.

Part funding of this project has been contributed by Katrine Hildyard MP for Reynell for the amount of $250,000. Council has also approved $400,000 towards this project as part of the annual Project and Captial Works Program.
