Internal refurbishment underway

We’re pleased to see that work resumed in early January and things are off to a great start. After the completion of the roof renewal project, our contractor is finalising the demolition and working through the extensive list of long lead-time items and equipment.

Over the next few weeks, they will commence work on the public bathrooms, new ceilings, services, and linings. Work is currently on track for an official opening in late 2025.

The refurbishment responds to community feedback, and we believe these upgrades will help to attract a broader range of performances and foster greater audience engagement.

Playground closure

The adjoining playground in Ramsay Place has been temporarily closed for safety reasons to accommodate the refurbishment works. We understand the inconvenience this may cause to the community, and we appreciate your patience during this time. The playground will remain closed until the refurbishment is complete, and we look forward to reopening it as a safe and enjoyable space for everyone.
