We are excited to share an update on the next stage of the Witton Bluff Base Trail project, which will feature public art celebrating the cultural significance of the area.

With the support of Katrine Hildyard, Member for Reynell, the state government has provided funding to help bring this vision to life.

The artwork, consisting of two Tjilbruke Poles, has been developed by a team that includes a First Nations cultural producer/artist, honouring the Tjilbruke Story—a significant dreaming narrative of the Kaurna people, the traditional custodians of this land.

We look forward to delivering these enhancements for the community as part of the Witton Bluff Base Trail project.

Work commenced in February this year with the boardwalk, followed by the seawall repair, and then the path above the seawall.
